Mancub plays the World Cup!

Space Cowboy DJ Mancub is playing the World Cup this weekend. That is, he’ll be playing between games that will be presented on a big ass screen at the Civic Center in San Francisco. We’re also working on a guest appearance from our Unimog!

He’ll be playing between the most exciting games of the World Cup Soccer Tournament.

7:00AM Saturday: Germany v. Argentina
11:30AM Saturday: Paraguay v. Spain

These are our first weekend games we are showing.

So be prepared: We will have lots of entertainment with a variety of food-stands from BBQ to Wood Fire Oven baked Pizza, Art, interactive music installations and Mini Soccer Fields to kick the ball around.

Come out cheer, laugh, play and lounge on the lawn. Don’t forget to bring your blanket or fold out seating, dance shoes and enough fluids, it’s going to be hot.

CLUTCHENPOX is a dread affliction, the bane of art cars everywhere. A diseased clutch can prevent an art car from living to its full potential, from shifting gears, but most important – from carrying your sorry ass and BOOTY-SHAKIN BEATS around the Burning Man playa year after year.

And so Garage Mahal humbly requests your presence at CLUTCH TIME! – an event honoring our magnificent car, gathering funds for her rehabilitiation, and raising awareness for ailing clutches worldwide. Whether your Saturday night has just turned into a Sunday morning, or you got a good night’s sleep and you’re ready to break fast with beats, Triple Crown and the Space Cowboys have the party for you. Mancub, rrrus, and 8ball will be spinning in broad daylight, and you’re going to have a blast no matter which side of the bed you woke up on.

Yeah, I know it’s a cheesy intro, but I can’t help it. I’m excited, because this party combines several of my favorite things – brunch, booze, and beats! I dare you to write a promo for an event like this that doesn’t sound a little cheesy. IT CAN’T BE DONE!!!

Apparently polls are the new black for the 07 season here in San Frandisco—there’s the long-running Dreamteam poll, the infamous BoC poll (sorry about that one, folks!) and now there’s a poll to determine the line up of the second installment of Iron DJ at Supperclub.

Space Cowboy DJ Mancub is included on the list of local talent, so if you have a moment, I encourage you to do your civic duty—cast your vote, and help Mancub get a much deserved shot at the title!
